THAMES Valley Police has charged four people in connection with an incident of attempted murder on Sunday, August 10.

Robbie Kirby, aged 34 and of The Dell; Thomas Latimer, aged 37 and of Westall Street, Shinfield; and Khari Nelson, aged 28 and of Flodden Drive, Calcot; were all charged with one count of affray on Tuesday, August 12.

A further man, Ashley Koroma, aged 19, of Cirrus Drive, Shinfield, was charged with one count of affray earlier today, August 13.

It comes after an incident of attempted murder in St Mary’s Butts, central Reading, on Sunday, which left three people hospitalised with injuries which are thought to have been caused by a knife.

Kirby, Koroma, Latimer and Nelson were remanded in custody and are due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court today.

Two other men, aged 27 and 34, both from Reading, who were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, have been released on police bail until November.
