SOME of the ancient rites of England will be unpacked in a new session coming to nearby Sherfield on Loddon later this month.
John Kirkpatrick will be at the village hall on Saturday, January 20, where he will speak on the theme A Musical Journey Through Wassail and a Winters Tale.
A singer, dancer and instrumentalist, John has been one of the most prominent figures on the English Folk Scene for many years.
