A COMMUNITY festival celebrating skills and creativity is taking place in libraries across Reading next month.
Reading Libraries Fun Palace is bringing interactive workshops, hands-on activities, and family entertainment to libraries on Saturday, October 3.
It comes as part of the national Fun Palaces Weekend of Action, an annual event turning local library spaces into community hubs, led by local residents, volunteers, and organizations sharing their hobbies and passions.
Designed for attendees of all ages, the drop-in schedule features a wide variety of activities spanning arts, crafts, science demonstrations, games, and storytelling sessions, while highlighting the resources available at neighborhood library branches.
Admission to all activities is free of charge with no advance booking required.
Reading Libraries Fun Palace will take place across Reading Libraries branches on Saturday, October 3.
The Dinosaur Trail and Crafts comes to Caversham Library from 10.30am-12.30pm.
The Lego Challenge comes to Central Library from noon-2pm.
Southcote Library welcomes Autumnal Crafts from 10am-noon.
