MEMBERS of Berkshire Industrial Archaeology Group are planning a walk around the Kennet and Avon Canal and the Coley Branch Line.
The event takes place on Wednesday, January 17.
Starting at County Lock, walkers will head to Southcote Lock and then return to Reading town centre via the Coley Goods Branch Line, learning more about the town’s history along the way.
The event starts at 10.30am and is due to end around 4.30pm, with a mid-afternoon pub lunch along the way.
Walking boots are advised.
