A BERKSHIRE festival has announced who will be performing when the event returns this summer,

Heritage Live in Pangbourne will see multi-award winning singer and songwriter Hozier taking to the stage following multiple platinum releases.

The show is part of his return to the UK, as the show will be his first in the country in four years, and follows his latest release, Eat Your Young.

Hozier is the musician behind the 5-time platinum selling single Take Me To Church, with his self-titled album hitting #2 on the Billboard Top 200 in its first year of release.

It also enjoyed nine weeks at #1 in his native Ireland and reached #3 in the UK.

He will see musical support from special guests Far From Saints and Victoria Canal.

Far From Saints sees Kelly Jones of the Stereophonics join forces with Patty Lynn and Dwight Baker of The Wind and The Wave merge rock, folk, country and Americana.

The performance will follow their debut album, due for release on Friday, June 16.

The show will be kicked off by Victoria Canal, who hails from Los Angeles and has studied music in New York and Barcelona.

Rounding out the roster will be Richard Ashcroft of The Verve, Solihull stalwarts Ocean Colour Scene, and South Yorkshire’s indie rock rabble-rousers, The Sherlocks.

Promoter Giles Cooper said: “Hozier is one of those special artists that only comes around once in a while, and he is undoubtedly one of the most talented artists in a generation.

“It’s been a driving ambition of us all at Heritage Live to stage a show for him and we really can’t wait!”

Heritage Live brings musical performances to some of the UK’s culturally significant venues, including stately homes, landmarks, and historic sites.

Heritage Live is taking place at Englefield House, Pangbourne, on Sunday, July 23.

Tickets are now available for pre-sale, though customers must be registered for pre-sale.
