RAMS will begin the 2026/27 National One campaign at home to Sale FC on Saturday, September 5.

The Dogs are one of the Berkshire side’s longest Level Three rivals having first faced them back in the 2019/20 campaign.

A week later Rams head to Bristol to take on Dings Crusaders before home clashes with two more long-standing opponents, Bishop’s Stortford and Rosslyn Park.

October begins with a trip to Birmingham Moseley on Saturday 3, before the first of the promoted sides, Bury St Edmunds, visit Old Bath Road.

The first block of seven consecutive fixtures is at Tonbridge Juddians.

Following a week off, Leeds Tykes are then in town on October 31.

Three fixtures in November are at last season’s third-placed side Plymouth Albion, before Rams National Two West champions Camborne arrive in Berkshire for the first time.

Another new opponent, Two North winners Sheffield, host on Saturday 21.

The final new rival, London Scottish, kick-start December before a trip to Cambridge and home Christmas game versus Dings on Saturday 19.

A three-week break ends with back-to-back trips to Stortford and Rosslyn on January 9 and 16.

Moseley are back at OBR seven days later.

Another blank week is followed by February fixtures at BSE, home to TJs and away to Leeds.

March’s fixtures are home to Plymouth (Saturday 6), at Camborne and back in Berkshire versus Sheffield.

The final weekend off precedes a frantic finish to the campaign.

Rams first travel to Scottish on April 3, then host Cambridge before ending the season.

Several new signings were part of the action as Rams began their pre-season training on Tuesday.

They included props Sam Stirling, who has joined from Old Albanians, and Cardiff Met graduate JJ Wozniak,

From the same university Ryan Cozens joins as a second row along with Shay Sainsbury, Liam Saayman and Ollie Agar, while German international Johnny Ireland is an open-side flanker along with Ollie Stirling from Clifton.

Recent Loughborough University scrum-half Matt Wickham is also on board along with Epsom College leaver Arthur Garfield.

There are also two new No. 10s – ex-Bath man Darren Atkins and Ross McKay, a former Ulster A player – as well as Connor Burns from Miami Sharks.

He is primarily a full back but is equally capable at fly-half.

In midfield Army man Matt Blee adds quality at outside centre, while two young wings in the form of Henry Kirwan (Tonbridge Juddians) and local lad Oli Sedgwick (Bath University) are further additions.
