Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan has sent a farewell message to the Reading FC supporters after he sealed a permanent move away from the club.
The forward completed a deal to join Danish side AC Horsens for a fee believed to be in the region of £640,000, ending his five-year spell with the first-team.
Ehibhatiomhan made his debut for the Royals in 2021 and went on to play 139 games for the senior side, scoring 27 goals in all competitions.
Used as both a striker and a left winger throughout his time across several first-team managers, his best scoring season in the league came last campaign where he netted nine times in 42 games.
Taking to social media, he said: “Thank you Reading, for the many years of experiences. Thank you to my teammates and members of staff that played a part in my development whether big or small, from the early ages in the academy all the way through to my years in the senior team.
“To the loyal royals that supported me day and night, home and away, thank you. I wish everyone involved with the club all the best for the future.”
He now joins Horsens who won promotion to the top flight of Danish football last season.
