Leighton Park School in Reading is celebrating a strong set of GCSE results, with more than half of all grades awarded at 7-9.
Some 56% of grades were at the equivalent of A* to A, compared with a national average of 23%, according to the school.
More than six in 10 students (63%) achieved at least one Grade 9.
The school said pupils achieved, on average, almost a full grade higher in each subject than predicted by national data, placing it in the top 10% nationally for academic progress.
Strong performances were recorded across a range of subjects.
Grades 7-9 accounted for 73% of Geography and Physics results, while the figure was 70% for Design and Technology and Further Maths and 69% for Maths.
English Literature recorded 63% of grades at 7-9, while English Language recorded 57%.
The school also reported particularly strong results in Modern Foreign Languages, with all grades in Japanese, Russian, Turkish, German and Italian at 7-9.
Among the individual results, Artur achieved nine Grade 9s, an 8 and a 7 and will continue at Leighton Park to study the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
Sarah achieved six Grade 9s, three Grade 8s and a Grade 7, while Annabel achieved four Grade 9s, four Grade 8s and three Grade 7s.
George O, who recently captained the England Hockey Under-16 team, achieved two Grade 9s, four Grade 8s, three Grade 7s and a Grade 6.
He plans to study A levels in Geography and Business alongside CTEC Sport.
George G achieved six Grade 9s, two Grade 8s and a Grade 6 and is among the 84% of eligible students who are continuing into Leighton Park’s Sixth Form.
He will study Music Technology, Mathematics and Physics.
Head of Leighton Park Luke Walters praised students, families and staff for their efforts.
“What I love about today is that behind all the figures are the human stories of success, the incredible progress and development students have achieved over the last five years,” he said.
He said the results were testament to the school’s focus on “compassionate challenge” and supportive relationships between pupils, parents and staff.
Charlotte Wilde, who becomes Deputy Head (Academic) in September, said the results reflected the commitment of students and the expertise of staff.
The school said 84% of eligible students would continue into its Sixth Form, alongside pupils joining from elsewhere.
