Nominated for Neighbourhood Champion, Derry Pope, sponsor Reading Football Club
A musical director who promotes all entertainment in the Reading area in a most positive way, Derry Pope has been put forward for the Neighbourhood Champion award, sponsored by Reading Football Club.
His nominator said Derry works tirelessly in and around Reading at many charity events and in care homes in between his day work of running at least
five choirs.
“My own experience in one of the choirs is that he never gets impatient with us older members and puts his all into performances,” they said.
“Raising money for charity and a glamorous promotion for Reading and the music industry, I have seen from afar how he is raising awareness of Reading’s good people.”
