THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a road collision left a shop-front smashed open last night.
At around 1am on Wednesday, June 10, officers attended the scene of a vehicle collision at The Good Brothers restaurant on Wokingham Road, Reading.
Images posted to social media showed the facade of the restaurant with significant damage, including the glass on the front door, which had been smashed in, and crumpled door frames, as well as splintering of the building’s facade.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “At around 1.04am today (Wednesday, June 10), our officers came across a vehicle collision at The Good Brothers premises on Wokingham Road.
“Officers conducted a search of the area and launched an investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
“No arrests have been made at this time. If anyone witnessed the incident, they should call 101 or make an online report via our website, quoting reference 43260289403.”
