A man has been charged following an assault in Reading town centre in which two men were injured.
Thames Valley Police said officers were called to reports of a fight in Castle Street at about 22:48 BST on Tuesday.
Ben Stevens, 29, of Caversham Road, Reading, has been charged with two counts of Section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent and one count of possessing a knife in a public place.
The charges relate to the incident in Castle Street, where two men suffered injuries described by police as non-life-threatening.
One of the injured men has since been discharged from hospital.
Stevens has been remanded in custody and was due to appear before Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
The investigation is continuing.
A 55-year-old man from Reading remains in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of Section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent.
A 52-year-old man from Reading, who was arrested on Wednesday, has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
