Police are appealing for information to trace a 25-year-old man who is known to frequent Reading, and who is wanted in connection with a number of alleged offences in Didcot.

Kaine Simmonds is wanted on suspicion of stalking, burglary and assault.

Thames Valley Police said he is also wanted on suspicion of threats to kill, taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent and criminal damage.

Simmonds is described as a black man, about 6ft 3ins (1.91m) tall, with a slim build.

He has short black afro-style hair, brown eyes, a thin black moustache and a black goatee.

Police said he is known to frequent the Reading, Didcot, Purley-on-Thames and Tilehurst areas.

Anyone with information about Simmonds’ whereabouts is asked to call 101 or report it online, quoting reference 43260332663.

Police said people should not approach him if they see him.

Anyone who sees Simmonds is asked to call 999 and provide police with details of his location.
