A MULTI-DAY cultural event celebrating South Asian music, food, and performing arts is set to take place at Palmer Park this weekend
Reading Mela 2026, organised by Art Celebration, brings a weekend of live stage performances, traditional dances, and family entertainment to East Reading.
Organised as an annual celebration of South Asian culture in Berkshire, the festival features live singing, Bollywood and street dance performances, Punjabi Dhol drumming, an Indian street circus, and classical Qawwali music.
The site incorporates a world food court offering regional South Asian cuisine, a shopping village featuring handcrafted items, and a dedicated family zone equipped with children’s shows and funfair rides.
Reading Mela 2026 will take place at Palmer Park on Saturday, and Sunday, August 1-2 from noon to 7:00pm.
The event is free to attend and open to all.
