Alcoholic drinks and snacks could be delivered late into the night as one Reading business has bid for approval of a 24-hour delivery service.
The company SWFT Delivery wants to expand its operations into Reading to provide beer, wine, spirits, snacks and assorted essentials.
SWFT Delivery’s menu on Deliveroo allows customers to buy a range of vodka, whiskeys, brandies and other spirits, as well as beers, ciders, soft drinks and snacks.
The company also delivers tobacco products and ‘daily essentials’ including toothpaste, toilet paper, and more from its facility in Wembley.
Now SWFT Delivery has applied to conduct 24-hour alcohol deliveries all week long from a unit of the Mammoth Storage facility at 20-22 Richfield Avenue, Reading.
All of the products will be for delivery only, with no alcohol being sold inside the unit itself.
