READIPOP has laid out who will be performing and when as its upcoming Fiesta looms closer–now just over two weeks away.

While this year marks a fallow year for the full festival, high demand meant that the event couldn’t stay away entirely.

The result is a one-day festival set to take place at the University of Reading Student Union on Saturday, September 13.

Reading’s own The Amazons are set to headline, just weeks after their surprise set at Reading Festival.

They’ll be playing alongside returning alumnus Roni Size, Eighties icons The Primitives, and a whole host of love performers, workshops, and markets.

The event’s first stage will take its place in 3SIXTY, the on-campus student bar and venue, which will kick off from 3.45pm with Tasha-KP, followed by Roni Size, The Amaxons, Stealing Sheep, and The Primitives.

From 1pm, The Flex/XOX stage will see the Vaultage takeover with a live hybrid set featuring Mr. C and David H, as well as Mat Carter, and Alex Darby.

There’ll also be a Reading Emom takeover with Dexterous, Ethidium, Fingerwolf, Miette, Marina Moore, and Morph, as well as synth and drop-in sessions and workshops from the XOX Project.

From noon, the Glitch stage will welcome DJ sets and interactive music from Tigers on vaseline, Hip Hop Karaoke, Jim B Donovan, and Gold Dust Hub CIC, as well as arts workshops from Jelly and craft sessions.

The Meadow will see sessions including circus skills and performances from Larger Than Life, Readipop workshops, Reading Indie Market, a mini record fair, and street food stalls

Readipop co-founder Gavin Lombos said: “We’re so excited for Readipop Fiesta 2025 being just around the corner

“The response has been fantastic and we know that, rain or shine, we’ll be able to bring everything people love about Readipop Festival to Reading Students’ Union both during the day and into the night.”

“The Primitives played a brilliant set at Readipop Festival 2019 and we’ve been wanting them to come back ever since.

“Hip Hop Karaoke will be a fun opportunity for hip hop fans of all ages to perform their favourite tracks in front of a festival audience.

“So many of the great partners we’ve had at our festival, including arts charity Jelly and circus skills specialists Larger Than Life, will be making sure the daytime programme is fun for all ages.

“The brilliant live acts, DJs and club takeovers, including Vaultage which is run by former Checkpoint Charlie and Fez Club residents Mat Carter and Alex Darby, will ensure we have smiling crowds and lively dancefloors right through until the end.”
