BROAD Street Mall is inviting residents to get ready for Pride and celebrate being themselves this week.
The centre is hosting an event to help people get into the spirit of Pride, when the MyUmbrella LGBT+ team will attend alongside events and activities.
The mall will also welcome drag performer Lady M, who is set to appear at this year’s Reading Pride event, to greet shoppers and hand out free pride-themed goodies.
Attendees can also take part in creating glitter art for free throughout the event.
Steven Connolly, Centre Manager at Broad Street Mall says ‘We’re thrilled to be hosting a prepping for Pride event in the lead up to Reading Pride.
“We can’t wait to see the local community come together to celebrate with us and get ready for the big day.”
