THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a collision in Reading which left a man with serious injuries.

Just before 6.50pm on Wednesday, December 12, a red hatchback car travelling on Basingstoke Road was involved in a collision with a motorcycle.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 23-year-old man, sustained serious injuries, including two broken ankles and a broken wrist.

He been taken to hospital to be treated, where he remains.

Investigating officer PC Ben Taylor, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “I’m appealing to anybody who witnessed this collision to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.

“I am particularly keen to hear from anybody who may have dash-cam or CCTV footage of the collision to please submit this to us.
