So sorry you’re feeling the pinch,
It must squeeze your poor tummy,
To tighten your belt that extra inch.
But I thought the Tory advice was
Simply to learn to cook from scratch,
And that way … your incomings and
Outgoings would be a perfect match.
And, if there’s still a tiny deficit,
Then … take on a few more hours,
They’ll let you doze off on the job,
Oh I see … that only applies to ours.
Really it’s a no-brainer … just go ‘n’
Get yourselves a side-hustle like us,
Stop pretending there’s a class divide,
You peasants … honestly what a fuss!
You’ll have to rent out your annexe …
The one, we all have at our place,
And simply … forgo the privacy
That comes with that extra space.
Oh … you lot don’t have annexes!
Your lives really are quite grim,
And frankly … rather depressing
