Here’s an exciting three-piece band from Newbury who will be live at Wokingham Festival in August.

With their classic indie rock sound with a modern twist, they are sure to go down well with the festival crowd.

This song is the title track from their latest EP which features three songs, which all showcase what a musically tight band they are.

This song is a very good singalong rock anthem. We are certainly looking forward to seeing them at the festival – https://linktr.ee/violetoriginuk

Beans on Toast – Send Me a Bird

This Essex-born singer-songwriter was No. 2 in our Best of 2023 list, and he has visited Reading several times over the last few years thanks to gig promoter, Club Velocity.

Each time he visits the crowd gets bigger. That’s no surprise as he is such a brilliant engaging performer.

He is back on March 5 and this time it will be a bit different as, rather than appearing solo, he will be with his Beans on Toast Band. That sounds interesting.

He recently released an acoustic version of Send Me a Bird as a single which is wonderful but as he will be playing with his band, we are featuring the version from his excellent, The Toothpaste and the Tube album – https://linktr.ee/beans.on.toast

The Countess of Fife – Hard Woman To Love

Last year punk legends, The Rezillos, played a blistering set at Reading’s Face Bar with the whole band including vocalist Fay Fife being on top form.

Fay returns to the Face Bar on March 17 but in a different guise, leading a band of talented musicians in her alt. country band.

That should be a fun night, so to get us in the mood here’s Fay aka The Countess of Fife with her new single which shows that her versatile talent certainly crosses genres – https://www.facebook.com/countessoffife

Puma Theory – Hit & Run

This band from Reading, not only create and play music, but they have also been putting on a series of shows at Oakford Social Club in Reading during February showcasing some of the best local bands around – https://linktr.ee/pumatheory

Chloe Mogg – Heaven Sent You

Chloe, from Worcestershire, has released an excellent debut album The Crazy One from which this song is taken and we can’t wait to see her live at Wokingham Festival in August – https://www.facebook.com/chloemoggmusic
