FRIAR STREET in Reading town centre is to be hit with an overnight road closure next week.
From 7pm on Monday, November 7, through to 6am on Tuesday, November 8, the throughway will be shut.
There will be a second closure at the same times on Monday, November 21, through to Tuesday, November 22.
Reading Borough Council has authorised the closure to allow a crane to be placed in the road to lift and remove apparatus from a roof.
Alternative routes will be signposted, and there will be some diversions to bus services. No details of these have been made available.
