A TRADITIONAL Scottish social dance is coming to a local craft brewery taproom in Reading this weekend.
The Double-Barrelled Pop-up Ceilidh brings a night of live nu-folk music, caller-guided dancing, and street food to brewery’s taproom on Sunday (September 6).
Organised by London-based ceilidh band Fiddle Paradiddle, the event combines traditional folk social dancing with contemporary musical arrangement.
An expert caller will guide participants through both classic and modern ceilidh dances, making the evening accessible to beginners as well as experienced dancers.
The Double-Barrelled Pop-up Ceilidh will take place at Double-Barrelled Brewery on Sunday, September 6, from 7pm.
The venue’s taproom opens at 5pm, followed by ticket check-in at 7pm and live dancing from 7.30pm.
Open to ages 16 and over, with under-18s required to be accompanied by an adult.
