A trio of former Reading FC players have left Rotherham United, who will join the Royals in League One next season.
Sean Morrison and Tyler Blackett have both been released at the end of their contracts by the Millers, while Andy Rinomhota returns to his parent club Cardiff City following his loan stint.
Rotherham will be building this summer ahead of their return to League One after they were relegated from the Championship in the 23/24 campaign, ending the season in 24th place on just 27 points.
Newly appointed Rotherham boss Steve Evans, previously at Stevenage, will battle against the Royals again next season having departed Boro to join the Millers last month.
Morrison spent three seasons with the Royals where he made a total of 38 league appearances, including 16 matches and two goals in the Premier League in the 2012/13 season.
After just under a decade at Cardiff City, the 33-year-old centre-back spent two seasons at Rotherham.
Blackett made 110 Championship outings for Reading across four seasons before he departed on a free transfer to join Nottingham Forest.
The 30-year-old played a total of 18 times in all competitions in two seasons for the Millers.
Rinomhota rose through Reading’s academy and made his first-team debut in 2018.
The midfielder played a total of 139 games for the club and won the player of the season award in the 2018/19 campaign.
At the expiration of his contract, Rinomhota joined Cardiff City and played 42 times before he made six appearances on loan at Rotherham last season.
