Former Reading FC star Fran Kirby scored England’s fourth goal as they cruised past Sweden to qualify for the Euro 2022 final.

The Lionesses can look forward to the European Championships final on Sunday at Wembley Stadium where they will face either France or Germany.

Arsenal’s Beth Mead put England in front with a sublime touch and finish before full-back Lucy Bronze doubled the lead with a header early in the second-half.

Manchester United striker Alessia Russo scored with an exceptional back heel and Kirby rounded off the scoring with a lob to book England’s place in the final.

Kirby, who was born in Reading, rose up through the youth ranks with the Royals.

She joined the club at age seven and made her senior debut for Reading at 16.
