Former Reading FC star midfielder Tom Ince has been released by Watford following the end of the Championship season and is now available as a free agent.
The 34-year-old leaves Vicarage Road after two seasons with the club, with Watford confirming his departure as part of their retained and released list.
Ince joined Reading initially on loan from Stoke City in 2022 before signing permanently later that year under then-manager, and father, Paul Ince.
During his time with the Royals, he became a key player and was named the club’s Player of the Season before leaving for Watford in 2023.
The winger made more than 90 appearances for Watford and scored 11 goals during his spell with the Hornets.
Ince has previously played for clubs including Liverpool, Blackpool, Derby County, Huddersfield Town and Stoke City during a career spanning more than 15 years.
