A RESIDENT nominated for a Pride of Reading award is to unpack the town’s famous three Bs – beer, bulbs, and biscuits – and add another two to them.
Terry Dixon is holding a special walkabout event around the town centre on Monday, September 4.
It will take in Reading Abbey, and the Forbury, add in a sprinkle of famous names, all those Bs, and two myths.
Places are limited to 20 people, and need to be booked in advance, and are available for a cash donation suggested at between £5 and £10 per adult and £1 per child aged five and over.
Proceeds will go to his charities of the year: Home-Start Reading, and The Reading Ukrainian Community Centre.
