ORGANISERS of a community pantomime are hoping you’ll put the pieces together and come along to enjoy a fun show.

The Russell Players are presenting The Panto Puzzle early next month, aiming to bring some pre-Christmas fun to Swallowfield.

The show, written by Mary Portalska, finds out what happened when a panto is cancelled.

Dame Dolly Mixture and Cheeky Charlie persuade a caretaker to unpack the boxes that pantos are stored in … only to discover that someone has been tampering with them and three things are missing from Cinderella’s box.

A distraught Cinderella has been left a cryptic note which is the only clue to the identity of the thief and the whereabouts of the stolen goods.

With the help of a rather surly emergency fairy, and some out-of-date fairy dust Dolly and Charlie visit the other pantomimes in their quest to identify the culprit and recover the missing items.
