A NEW burger is about to go on sale at two Reading town centre pubs, but you’ll have to be quick to take advantage.
The Beyond BBQ Stack is a special being served by Wetherspoons to mark Veganuary – and that means it is totally vegan.
It comprises a Beyond Meat plant-based burger, with BBQ sauce, onion rings, iceberg lettuce, tomato, and red onion. It is served in a vegan brioche bun, with a side of chips.
Throughout January, it will be available for £7.50 with a soft drink or £8.97 with an alcoholic drink from The Back of Beyond in Kings Road and The Hope Tap in Friar Street.
The Back of Beyond pub manager Rachel Jackson said: “I am confident that the burger will prove popular with our vegan customers as well those trying a vegan burger for the first time.”
