A VETERAN UK stand-up comedian is set to take on modern technology and reality with a show in Reading next month.

Simon Evans: Staring At The Sun comes to Reading Town Hall on Saturday, 5 September for a single evening show.

The tour performance by the BBC Radio 4 regular explores concepts surrounding artificial intelligence, simulation theory, and the shift from an analogue youth to a digital present.

Drawing on his 25-year career in comedy, television appearances on Live at the Apollo, and long-running radio projects, the comedian combines philosophical commentary with personal anecdotes, delivered with his trademark dry and incisive style.

Simon Evans: Staring At The Sun will take place at Reading Town Hall on Saturday, 5 September at 7:30 pm.
