READING is set to mark Armed Forces Day on Saturday, celebrating current and former service people, veterans, and cadets.
It is part of a national celebration, allowing people to show their support and appreciation for services personnel, past and present, including Reservists, veterans and cadets as well as their families.
There will be a parade along Broad Street, where groups and regiments will set up stalls and activities.
There will also be performances from the Reading Scottish Pipe Band from 11.30am-12.30pm, and again from 1.30pm until 2pm.
