Jamie T was not included in the festival’s original line-up, making his late addition another unexpected highlight for fans heading to Richfield Avenue.
The London-born artist has been a major figure in British indie music since breaking through in the mid-2000s.
He is best known for songs including If You Got the Money, Sheila, Sticks ‘n’ Stones and Zombie.
His fifth studio album, The Theory of Whatever, was released in 2022 and reached number one in the UK Albums Chart.
His Reading appearance will give fans the chance to hear some of his best-known tracks in a festival setting, while providing an early highlight on the main stage.
