People celebrating their birthdays on 11 or 12 July can claim a free game of bowling as Hollywood Bowl Reading celebrates its first anniversary.
The venue, at The Oracle shopping centre, is marking a year since it opened by offering the free game to customers whose birthday falls on the same dates as its official anniversary.
The offer is available on the day visitors attend the centre, with customers asked to show valid identification as proof of their date of birth.
As part of the celebrations, the bowling alley also commissioned a two-tier birthday cake decorated in its signature pink colours and topped with a bowling ball and pin for staff.

Since opening, the venue said it has hosted 1,167 birthday parties, welcomed bowlers for 380,505 games and served 4,940 milkshakes.
Jack Harvey, centre manager at Hollywood Bowl Reading, said: “One year in, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve built here in Reading.
“This anniversary felt like the perfect moment to give something back – to the guests who’ve made us their go-to for a great time, and to the brilliant team who show up every day and make it happen.
“Cake and bowling are a winning combination, and we can’t wait to keep the celebrations going for many more years with this incredible community.”
The birthday offer is available at Hollywood Bowl Reading on 11 and 12 July. Customers must present valid ID to claim their free game.
