GIANTS return to The Lexicon this October half term, reimagined for autumn.

Dressed in leaves and pumpkins for the first time, they lead a series of hallowe’en themed activities from Monday, October 19.

After years of woodland slumber, Wise Woodland, Lady Nell Greenwood and Will Wildwood are making their third appearance at The Lexicon, and they’ve woken up with a whole new look.

Restyled in their new autumn finery, the giants offer the perfect photo opportunity for families this half term.

Alongside the giants, The Lexicon Express will take passengers on a spooky journey, travelling through two 4.5 metre high pumpkin tunnels, with every rider given a limited-edition sticker for their sticker collection.

Families can follow a pumpkin trail through shop windows across the centre, filling out a trail leaflet for the chance to win exciting prizes.

And free hallowe’en themed face painting will take place between Mango and Fenwick on Monday 26, Wednesday 28 and Friday 30 October, from 11am through to 5pm.

Sue Boor, head of marketing at The Lexicon, said: “We’re delighted to welcome the giants back to The Lexicon after some time away, dressed for autumn for the first time.

“It’s a real treat for our visitors and we can’t wait to see families enjoying the town centre this half term.

“We love giving our previous installations a new lease of life rather than letting them go to waste.

The giants have another costume change up their sleeves before the year is out, so watch this space.”
