Reading Today will be sponsoring the Charity of the Year award at this year’s Pride of Reading Awards.
The award recognises a local charity that through working in partnership with businesses or the voluntary/public sector has made an amazing impact on
our community.
Claire Nash, Business Development Manager at Reading Today, said: “It’s always such a proud moment for us to be involved in the awards – the event is so good for the whole of the town.
“It’s fantastic to recognise the people that do so much for others and this award does that and allows the focus to be put on charities who are doing so much important work.
“There are so many brilliant people and so many brilliant things which happen in Reading so it’s so important to have an event like this where that can
be highlighted.
“The Reading community is strong, diverse and wonderful so it’s great to have an opportunity to celebrate those people who make it such a great place and those that do so much good for the community.”
