Police have sealed off parts of Elgar Road today (Thursday, December 2).
Parking bays on either side of the road have been taped over, using wheelie bins as markers.
Forensic officers have been seen by eyewitnesses, and there is a large police presence in the area.
The cordon was put in place this morning.
Elgar Road is off Berkley Avenue and Basingstoke Road, and close to Waterloo Meadows.
Thames Valley Police has been contacted for a comment.
