Police have warned motorists that anti-social driving at a Reading business estate could lead to vehicles being seized.
The warning relates to unauthorised car meets taking place at Cradock Road Business Estate in south Reading.
Officers said the gatherings were putting spectators at risk, disrupting local businesses and creating unsafe conditions for other road users.
The Katesgrove and Coley Neighbourhood Policing Team said it was working with Reading Borough Council’s Safer Public Realms Team to introduce measures aimed at preventing the meets from taking place.
Police said they would continue to monitor the area proactively, with Section 59 warnings being issued to drivers involved in anti-social behaviour.
Under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act, officers can seize vehicles being driven in a careless or anti-social manner if warnings are ignored.
A spokesperson said persistent offending could result in vehicles being removed “with significant cost and consequences” for owners.
The force has urged drivers to use “appropriate, lawful venues” for car meets and to respect the local community.
