Police appeal after daytime altercation between two men and woman in Reading

Police are appealing for witnesses following an altercation involving two men and a woman in Reading.

Thames Valley Police said the incident happened at about 15:30 BST on Monday, 30 March, on London Road at the junction with London Street.

No injuries have been reported.

A 43-year-old woman from Reading was arrested on suspicion of assault and has since been released on police bail.

Investigating officer Det Con Hannah Tomaselli said officers were keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened.

“I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this altercation to please come forward and provide that information,” she said.

She added that those who did not wish to speak directly to police could contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
