OVERNIGHT road closures will take place on the M4 and its connecting sliproad from next month.
National Highways has revealed the plans for the works, which will take place at weekends over a two-week period.
Under the plans, the link road from the A329(M) to the M4’s junction 10 would be closed overnight and at weekend, while a 50mph speed limit will be introduced on the M4 between The Straight Mile overbridge and the junction, and, on the London-bound carriageway, between the King Street Lane underbridge and the junction.
National Highways says this is to ensure road safety measures are in place to protect the workforce.
The work will start on Monday, September 11, and are expected to take a fortnight.
Overnight closures would be from 9pm to 6am, while the weekend closures would run from 8pm on Friday through to 6am on Monday.
