A MAN was assaulted in Tilehurst earlier this month and police are appealing for witnesses.
The incident happened in the Prospect Park car park at the junction of Cockney Hill and Honey End Lane at 3.15pm on Wednesday, November 1.
Thames Valley Police said the victim, who is in his thirties, was attacked by a group of men with a baseball bat. The offenders are described as two white men and two Asian men. They were seen to leave the scene in a light-coloured vehicle.
They stole a black Android mobile phone from the man who was taken to hospital but did not require treatment.
Investigating officer, PC Kirstie House, based at Reading police station, said; “We are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident, or who may have information about what happened, to please get in touch.
