Kamari Doyle has thanked supporters of Reading FC after his season-long loan spell came to an end.
The 20-year-old midfielder, on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion F.C, made 46 appearances in all competitions for Reading, scoring four goals and providing eight assists during a campaign in which he became a fans’ favourite.
In a farewell message to supporters, Doyle said he had “really enjoyed” his time in Berkshire and felt he had developed “massively” both on and off the pitch during his spell with the club.
The attacking midfielder played a key role in Reading’s season and was widely praised for his creativity and confidence in possession.
Reflecting on his time at the club, Doyle thanked supporters for their backing throughout the campaign and said the connection with fans had made his loan spell particularly memorable.
He said: “I’ve really enjoyed my time at Reading. I feel I have developed massively on and off the pitch since the first part of the season.
“I’ve learnt some really valuable things that will hopefully help me on going throughout my career.
“I’d like to thank Leam for trusting in me and helping me feel more and more confident as the season progressed, as well as all my teammates and the staff for making me feel at home.
“Finally, I’d like to thank the supporters for trusting in me and creating an atmosphere that was so enjoyable to play my football in. I’ve loved representing such a big club and will always remember my time here fondly.”
