READING Camera Club returns from a Christmas break with a visiting speaker.
The Mother Road will see David Childs unpack his journey from Chicago in Illinois through to Santa Monica in Los Angeles, California.
The route is 2,278, and better known as Route 66, which goes through nine American states.
Mr Childs’ presentation will include audio-visual elements as well as photographs.
The session will be held at Earley St Peter’s Church Hall in Church Road, Earley, from 7.45pm on Friday, January 5. Entry for non-members is £5.
The group meets on a weekly basis on Fridays, and includes competitions as well as welcoming visiting speakers.
