A FILMMAKING competition is set to launch at an indipendent in central Reading.
The 48-Hour Film Challenge, a collaborative event between Reading Biscuit Factory and Framespotting, is kicking off next month.
Open to adults aged 18 and over, the initiative tasks teams of two to six people with writing, shooting, and editing a short film under ten minutes within a single 48-hour window.
Participants will receive their secret brief and required elements during the launch event at the venue. Completed films will then be screened during a premiere and awards event in the cinema on Monday, 24 August.
The winning team receives an annual cinema membership to Reading Biscuit Factory.
Frame-Spotting: The 48-Hour Film Challenge launch will take place at Reading Biscuit Factory on Monday, August 17, at 7:00 pm.
Entry fees are £9.38 for Earlybird applicants, or £11.55 full price, with separate spectator tickets available for the screening night.
