THE HOLT School is congratulating pupils as they collect their GCSE grades this year.

In a press release The Holt School said it was “delighted to report another great set of GCSE exam results for 2023.”

It reported that 88.8% of students achieved 5 or more passes at Grade 4 or above, including English and Maths, and with 48.6% of grades at 7 to 9.

More than 76% of students achieved a Grade 5 or above in English and Mathematics, with more than 88% achieving more than five Grade 4s or above including English and Mathematics.

Pass rate grades were achieved by 99.5% of pupils, and more than half of those in the English Baccalaureate achieved Grade 5 or higher.

More than 48% of grades awarded were Grades 7 or higher overall.
