WOKINGHAM & EMMBROOK picked up a point on the road on their trip to BURGHFIELD RESERVES.
Georgia Norris and Chloe Sykes scored for the hosts to put Burghfield in front before late strikes from Megan Barlett and an 86th minute leveller from Charlotte Loughrey earned the Sumas a point in a 2-2 stalemate.
Burghfield are in sixth place on 15 points from 11 matches, while the Sumas are in third on 23 points from 12 games.
Southern Region Women’s Premier
WOODLEY UNITED lost their place in the top three after they were overtaken by Oxford City.
On their away trip to Oxford, the Kestrels conceded three times without reply in just their third loss of the league campaign.
Woodley are in fourth place on 13 points from eight games, two points behind Oxford but with two games in hand.
Southern Region Women’s Division One North
CAVERSHAM UNITED stay rooted to the bottom of the table still looking for their first points of the campaign.
The Goats were on the end of an 8-0 thrashing which was dished out by league leaders Long Crendon who enjoyed an exceptional second-half performance as they scored six times.
Thames Valley Women’s Division One
WARGRAVE were on the end of a 7-1 defeat against top of the table Slough Town.
With the score at 2-0 in favour of the home side at the break, Slough ran away with the game in the second-half to seal a big win.
The result means that Slough are the new leaders after overtaking Tilehurst Panthers, who had a week off from action.
The Panthers are on the same points as Slough having won all eight of their league games and now have a game in hand on Slough.
Thames Valley Women’s Division 3S
AFC READING collected their second win of the season with a five star show against Hawley.
The 5-0 victory puts AFC Reading up to eighth in the table on seven points from nine games.
