READING’S role in the emergence of photography is to be unpacked on Saturday with a walking tour of the town.
Walk Reading is hosting the event which will explore some of the places where William Henry Fox Talbot pioneered the medium. It’s an opportunity to see how the town has changed since the photos were taken in the 1840s.
The event takes place from 11.30am from a town centre venue on Saturday, March 9. It will also take place on Sunday, March 24 at 2pm. Places cost £9, and should be booked in advance.
