Crews from three stations were sent to reports of a kitchen fire in Reading on Sunday afternoon.
A statement from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue said: “At 4:53pm on Sunday, November 19, we received a call to reports of a fire on Crescent Road, Reading.
“Crews from Wokingham Road, Caversham Road and Whitley Wood Fire Stations were sent to the scene.
“Upon arrival, crews found a fire in the kitchen of a flat.
“Firefighters rescued a woman from the property before providing Immediate Emergency Care.
“They then extinguished the fire. They were on the scene for just over 15 minutes.”
