Care home owner seeks permission to convert part of Caversham site into eight homes

THE OWNER of a Caversham care home has applied for permission to change its use into eight homes.

Colin Robbins, who runs Summerfield in Kidmore Road has applied to Reading Borough Council confirm the switch, which was initially approved in 2019.

The new application also seeks permission for a single storey rear extension.

The plans can be seen on Reading Borough Council’s website, by searching the planning portal for application 220898.
