BROAD STREET Beats is returning to Reading to mark Green Week for 2026.

Broad Street Mall is once again inviting residents to celebrate together with its regular event–this time with a twist.

In partnership with The Rhoom Studios, this Green Week edition of Broad Street Beats will bring local artists together to perform in the heart of Reading while providing a platform for musicians to talk about eco-conscious choices and living sustainability.

The centre will also be hosting a sustainability-themed workshop throughout the day.

Families will be able to take part in the make-and-take sessions for free, with a chance to decorate pebbles with their own beautiful designs to keep as a special memento of their visit.

The centre’s beloved mascot Topsy will be making appearances throughout the day, handing out sweets, hugs, and posing for photos with visitors.

Broad Street Mall is also proud to continue supporting Every Little Thing Festival, led by founder Sinead Gibson whose daughter Diva sadly lost her life to suicide.

The festival shines a light on mental health, wellness and suicide prevention, offering hope and support to those who need it most.

The team will be attending this next Broad Street Beats event to share their powerful message with the community.

Steven Connolly, Centre Manager at Broad Street Mall, said: “We are delighted to bring the next Broad Street Beats event to our local community.

“Hosting this series of events has become a powerful way for us to connect the local community, both through music and the key topics that are raised through each event.

“We’re excited to welcome everyone for a fun day right in the heart of Reading, and for those taking part in our workshop, the chance to take home a beautiful little creation that reminds them of how they can try to live a more eco-conscious lifestyle.”

Broad Street Beats returns to Broad Street Mall on Saturday, June 6, from 11am-3pm.

Workshop sessions will operate on a first-come-first-served basis on the day, with no need to pre-book.
