THE ANNUAL studio arts trail is returning to East Reading next week, bringing scores of artists and exhibitions to the town.
The Whiteknights Studio Trail is back after a bumper anniversary event last year, bringing 33 artists to more than 20 venues in East Reading.
It will again be welcoming new arts and crafty creatives to show in venues around the area of Whiteknights campus, Reading, on a walking tour.
After celebrating 25 years last year, the trail looks to continue its legacy of showcasing local artists in a homely and accessible event.
It was started in 2001, when it was developed from an idea by Susanna Beer, Pip Hall and Jenny Halstead to form a walking trail of open studios and venues.
It was conceived to allow artists to show and communicate their work and enthusiasm, as well as the processes of their craft to visitors.
Whiteknights Studio Trail takes place across East Reading From Saturday-Sunday, June 13-14.
