SOUTH READING residents can keep fit by getting involved in friendly sports sessions.
Whitley Community Development Association, in collaboration with Netball England, offers weekly walking netball sessions at its home on Northumberland Avenue.
Open to players of all abilities and experience, refreshments will be served at the end.
After a recent session, Netball in Berkshire took to social media and said: “Some of the ladies at these sessions were dragged in from the cafe in their crocs and wellies but have been turning up ever since this time in trainers and have got the netball bug.”
The meet-ups take place on Wednesdays from 10.30am-11.30am.
