A FREE industry event is returning to Reading FC’s SCL stadium this summer to help businesses navigate fleet electrification and emerging automotive technology.

Businesses seeking to modernize their vehicle operations can now register for Select Live, an industry event focused on fleet optimization and the future of transport.

Hosted by Select Car Leasing, the event aims to provide practical solutions for companies managing corporate fleets.

The event will focus heavily on financial and operational efficiency and attendees can explore several key areas designed to improve their fleets.

These include transitioning to electric vehicles (EVs), implementing salary sacrifice schemes, and adopting smarter fleet management software.

Experts will lead panel discussions on how these strategies can support a smoother business transition while simultaneously improving a company’s balance sheet.

Beyond the seminar sessions, the event features a hands-on look at the latest automotive hardware. Guests will have the opportunity to sit in a variety of new vehicle models and participate in professional networking sessions.

There will also be a humanoid robot IRON on-site for a demonstraiton featuring technology from firms such as China’s XPeng.

It is aimed at highlighting how robotics and artificial intelligence are currently shaping the future of the global automotive industry.

Shane Pither, Head of Select Electric, said: “We’ve excited to be able to showcase close to 100 new vehicles all in one place, from the World Car of the Year BMW iX3 to the head-turning Tesla Cybertruck.

“This is your opportunity to really explore what the new car and van market has to offer, particularly when it comes to EVs and hybrids.

“Select Live isn’t just about new vehicles, it’s also the perfect opportunity for businesses to explore how they can drive down their vehicle fleet costs.

“We’ll be running seminars about how to source cars and vans while making savings, how to run a successful Salary Sacrifice scheme for employees, and how to negotiate the transition to electric while improving your bottom line.

“Businesses are increasingly asking not whether they should electrify, but how to do it in a way that works for them operationally and financially.

“Select Live is about helping businesses understand their options, whether that is moving to EVs now, introducing salary sacrifice, or simply making their current fleet more cost-effective.”

Select Live returns to Select Car Leasing Stadium, Reading on June 24.

Admission is free though registration is required via: selectcarleasing.co.uk/select-live
